The PL182 is a full-body electric patient lift, designed to fully lift patients from bed, floor, or chair. The PL182 differs from the SA182/182H, which is a sit-to-stand (stand assist) lift intended for patients who can bear partial weight and only need assistance standing and transferring. The PL182 operates entirely by electric actuation and features a six-point spreader bar, while the SA182 uses a sit-to-stand mechanism with options for electric or hydraulic actuation (the SA182H model).
