Gently assist the patient onto their side in a safe and controlled manner.
Lower the HelpR to the floor and place it as close to the patient as possible to minimize movement.
Upright Positioning
Bring the patient to an upright seated position, ensuring their buttocks are firmly against the back of the HelpR seat.
Lean the patient back against the backrest and secure them using the waist and chest restraint belts to maintain stability and safety.
Lifting and Transferring
Confirm that the HelpR operator platform is lowered, and have the operator stand on the platform before lifting.
Raise the patient into a standing position and, if necessary, safely transfer them short distances to a wheelchair, gurney, or nearby seating surface.
Caregiver Safety Reminder
A caregiver must remain in close contact with the HelpR at all times whenever a patient is seated or being transferred to ensure maximum safety and control.
